metacafe.com starts wikicafe

Metacafe.com‘s new wikicafe
After months of behind-the-scenes testing, we’re excited to publicly debut the Wikicafe beta program. Metacafe‘s Wikicafe brings the idea of community collaboration to life, similar to other Wiki sites. Registered users will now have the ability to edit, enhance, and even translate video tags, descriptions, and other types of metadata. Check out these videos:
his means you will see better information about the videos you watch, and it will be easier to find the videos you want to watch. It also means you will be able to read translated metadata in one of the six languages we support (Spanish, Italian, French, Dutch, German, and Hebrew).

Wikicafe is now available for testing to all registered users. When viewing a video, you will see an “Editing Options” button just above the video player. Click it to activate the Wikicafe interface… and get your edit on!
