THE web portal of the Single Window System for admissions to the higher secondary classes will be functional from Monday.

Having completed the data entry works on war footing, the IT@School Project of General Education Department, which is managing and maintaining the website, is launching the website of Higher Secondary Centralised Allotment Process (HSCAP) two days ahead of the schedule.

The website http://www.hscap.kerala. will go online from 12 noon on Monday. Students will be able to view their applications forms by entering their ‘application number’ (given in red in the acknowledgement card) and ‘district’ on the prescribed boxes on the website homepage.

In case a candidate wants to make any change he/she can note down the corrections and write down an application for correction in a separate sheet of paper and submit it to the client school where he/she had earlier submitted the application form, along with valid documents.

“We are requesting students to make judicious use of this chance to make corrections. They can make any sort of correction they want, be it in the courses opted, category of reservation or adding bonus marks.

But whatever changes they make they will have to furnish proof and their acknowledgement card along with the request for correction,” said IT@School Project executive director K Anvar Sadath.

Sadath said that it was mandatory to write the application number, name, address, phone number and signature of the applicant in the request.

The application forms are also being made available on the sites and The facility for making corrections will be available till 5 p.m. on June 26. Help desks have been set up in all client schools.

Besides, ViCTERS education channel run by IT@School Project will telecast special programmes regarding the Single Window System from Monday. After the correction procedure, another verification for factual errors will be done on July 3 before the publishing of final lists on July 8.

Around 2,000 IT officials and teachers are involved in the implementation of the Higher Secondary Single Window admission system, the software for which has been developed by the National Infomatics Centre.
